The Ascent Apartments are an extension of the Footsteps Transitional Living Program. They provide a structured independent living environment for youth as they begin to navigate the "real world" responsibilities of normal day-to-day living.
Tenants of the Ascent Apartments are typically graduates of the Footsteps Transitional Living Group Home, however interested parties can make inquiries about direct referral or placement in the structured apartment setting.
A certain amount of trust is required to be considered for this program, as a result, more emphasis can be placed on daily living skills such as budgeting, social relationships, employment, education, and personal responsibility.
Residents are given the opportunity slowly acclimate to a more independent setting. Below you will find a copy of the New Tenant Guidelines intended to aid in a successful transition to a less structured environment.
